The biggest impact AI will have on humanity will not be technological, or psychological. It will be Ontological.
AI is changing the work landscape, not just disrupting it, but dissolving structures that have been in place for over two hundred years.
In the opinion of the World Economic Forum, the biggest impact of AI will not be technological; it will be psychological, because of its impact on our jobs and lives. Our view is that it is bigger still. The impact will be ontological. It goes to the very core of what it is to be human.
Ontologica grew out of a recognition that no executive programme, therapeutic approach or coaching system addresses this change effectively. Founders and senior executives have arrived at a threshold that none of the available frameworks are equipped to address.
Combining decades of experience in behavioural science, corporate leadership, executive coaching, somatic practice, philosophy and the ontological dimension of human development, The Sovereign Architect is designed to prepare you for the new era of uncertainty and technological overwhelm.
Human flourishing is a design problem, and it should not be left to chance.
For over twenty years, Gentiana worked at the intersection of innovation, neuroscience, and experience design, leading imagineering and future-visioning work for Fortune 500 organisations. Her speciality was the neuroscience of customer empathy and leadership: how to design for the human and the business at the same time.
Then she turned the lens inward. Through Jungian depth psychology, design and systems thinking, wisdom traditions, and contemplative arts, she began asking the question the corporate world was not equipped to hold: what happens when you apply the rigour of designing a world-class offering to the redesign of a human identity?
The Sovereign Architect is the answer. A Stanford Distinguished Scholar, MBA, artist and writer, she leads the programme's intellectual architecture from a single conviction: that human flourishing is a design problem, and shouldn't be left to chance. It deserves the same passion, precision, craft and rigour the commercial world has reserved for products, services and markets.
James is a Chairman and CEO turned executive coach and mentor. Starting in advertising and moving into technology, he built and exited his first business during the first wave of the internet revolution. A pioneer in data and tech, he spent the next twenty years as a Founder, Chairman and NED across finance, property, risk and consumer goods — including running a portfolio of companies for the Daily Mail General Trust, a FTSE 100 media group.
With extensive board-level and operational experience, James understands precisely the pressures that founders and C-suite executives face. Recognising the shortcomings of traditional coaching in dealing with the root cause of human performance, he became one of the first accredited Somatic Coaches in the UK — bringing nervous-system regulation, breathwork and embodiment into executive development as Founder of The Somatic Centre.
James leads the somatic work in The Sovereign Architect. His first degree was in Philosophy, and he has since studied at London Business School and Oxford Saïd Business School.
This programme is a unique opportunity to recalibrate your understanding of yourself, your work and your identity. It is designed to be rigorous, challenging and rewarding.
Are you ready to change?
If you feel the discomfort of the question more than the warmth of the welcome, that is intentional. There is no easy path to real progress. This is not for the faint-hearted.
It is for the whole-hearted.
The life story you have been telling is just one version of events. There are others. And they are waiting.
